    nexIRC 1.06e is an early release from the original 1.x generation of Team Nexgen's Windows IRC client. It represents one of the surviving snapshots from the period when nexIRC was still establishing the interface, connection management, and IRC features that would later grow substantially throughout the 2.x and 3.x series. Built for Windows during Team Nexgen's early years, nexIRC was designed as a graphical alternative to more traditional IRC clients, with an emphasis on making everyday chat and network management convenient and approachable.
